Gym Activewear I Actually Wear

Okay so I’ve been lifting for a couple years now, and I feel like once you’re past the beginner gym phase, you know when activewear is doing what it’s supposed to do. These are the brands I actually rotate through depending on the workout and the vibe: DFYNE, NVGTN, and YoungLA.

DFYNE is my go-to when I want to feel confident without trying too hard. The shorts and leggings are super flattering, especially for leg day. The glute contouring really does its thing, but it’s not uncomfortable or overdone. Everything stays in place, which is huge for squats and RDLs. Also love how clean and minimal the sets look — very “effortlessly hot at the gym.”

NVGTN is for when I want to feel SNATCHED. The compression is strong, the waistband holds you in, and the contour details are very obvious (in a good way). I usually wear NVGTN when I want a matching set that makes me feel extra motivated and locked in. It’s very gym-rat energy and perfect if you love a tight, sculpted fit.

YoungLA is more relaxed but still cute. I love their shorts and oversized tops for chill training days or when I’m not trying to wear a super tight set. The vibe is very gym-meets-streetwear, and their stuff is easy to throw on and still feel put together.

Honestly, activewear matters more than people admit. When you feel good in what you’re wearing, your workout just hits better. DFYNE = sculpted, NVGTN = snatched, YoungLA = effortless gym girl energy. Wear what makes you want to show up and lift — and don’t sweat it.
